A self-taught real estate photographer, Michael has honed his craft to capture properties in their best light, specializing in flash-ambient photography.

His advanced spreadsheet systems have transformed Oxford Realty’s approach to managing an extensive and growing portfolio of rental properties. As a self-published author, he curated and photographed The Oxford Realty Cocktail Book: A Pictorial Guide to Classic Cocktails, showcasing his love for mixology and his expertise in crafting beautiful, classic drinks. Michael has also produced Building Zen: An Adult Coloring Book for Relaxation, which features unique, real-life architecture transformed into intricate coloring pages designed to help adults unwind.

Michael’s creative drive extends into community-focused projects, like the Grand Forks Children’s Museum exhibit, where he designed a wooden train track play space with a 200-square-foot, highly detailed map of Grand Forks.

At home, Michael is an enthusiastic home chef, constantly exploring gourmet recipes and refining his skills in the art of the cocktail. When he’s not experimenting in the kitchen or crafting a perfect Manhattan, you’ll find him immersed in non-fiction audiobooks on topics ranging from history and business to linguistics and survival stories. A devoted family man, he enjoys spending time with his wife, young son, and stepdaughter, creating memories and sharing his love for learning and adventure.

Hello to you all, and thanks for taking the time to read my agent page. I grew up in Dickinson, North Dakota and graduated from the Catholic school system as a Trinity Titan. I attended Dickinson State University for one year before transferring to the University of North Dakota to pursue a degree in finance. After UND I moved back to Dickinson and managed 2 large restaurants for a period of 5 years. In 1996 I moved back to Grand Forks to pursue a career in finance. Along with my 22 year old daughter, we have made Grand Forks our home, and have enjoyed making friends with the many wonderful people in this community. I was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota and have always been glad to be here. I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2006 with a degree in Civil Engineering. During my years at the University, I had a part- time job in property management. As the years passed, I developed relationships with wonderful people in the real estate business.

By the time I graduated, I had already decided that I wanted to continue working in real estate. I first became a real estate agent in 2004. I started my career with Crary Homes and Real Estate where I had a wonderful experience and learned much from all the great people there. In 2008 I became a broker, and my partners and I opened our own real estate office, Oxford Realty.

Mark is a Bemidji, MN native that came to Grand Forks in 1991 and graduated from the University of North Dakota. He has been a Realtor since October 2018. Mark has also been an educator within the Grand Forks Public School system since 2002.
