Our History
Mike Opp and Christopher Kiley have worked together in Real Estate for over 20 years. Together, partnering in a single rental house on Oxford Street, the business has grown to employ over 100 people in the Grand Forks Real Estate Industry. In 2008, their business moved to its current headquarters at 2009 13th Ave N, where Oxford Realty as a Real Estate Brokerage was born in the spirit of helping others achieve their Real Estate goals. Scott Zukowski worked as the first Sales Associate and Barb Hangsleben became Oxford Realty’s first top producer. Oxford Realty continued to grow steadily as a Real Estate leader in Grand Forks, acquiring First Realty in 2018, and in 2022 purchasing the offices of Forks Real Estate. These companies each have their own esteemed histories in the Grand Forks community. First Realty, which formed in 1988 with the merging of Blair & Uglem (Darrell Dallum), Interstate, and McEnroe Real Estate, and Forks Real Estate which formed in 1999 when Coldwell Banker merged with Belmont Realty. With this steady growth and tireless dedication to customer satisfaction, Oxford is a trusted brand for high-quality housing and world-class service. Today, Oxford Realty has an expanding team of Top Producers and a flourishing network of contractors, developers, business professionals, and city leaders all aligned with the mission to provide our residents a happy and healthy home in Grand Forks.
